We are seeking an ERP Application Specialist to join our IT team and partner closely with cross-functional business units to support, enhance, and optimize enterprise applications. This role is critical in driving system performance, supporting business growth, and delivering scalable ERP solutions aligned with company and security standards.
The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and strong collaboration skills to support ERP initiatives, system integrations, and ongoing application health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and execute ERP initiatives aligned with the company’s application and technology roadmap.
- Assist with ERP upgrades, enhancements, and system updates.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP system issues for end users.
- Develop, test, and maintain ERP customizations, including BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, and reports.
- Create and maintain documentation for processes, systems, and best practices.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and implement effective system solutions.
- Manage and prioritize incidents, requests, and system alerts in a timely, service-oriented manner.
- Support integrations between ERP and other business applications.
- Participate in testing, change control processes, and deployment of new features.
- Conduct user training sessions and develop training materials.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners supporting application services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and IT service delivery (ITIL aligned).
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of ERP or application support experience.
- Experience with Epicor ERP strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with:
- BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, and ERP customizations.
- SQL and relational databases (MS SQL Server).
- Report development (SSRS or Crystal Reports).
- Experience with programming languages such as SQL, C#, Java, or PowerShell preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Visual Studio a plus.
- Understanding of application lifecycle, testing, and change management processes.
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
